Job Responsibilities

• Supporting IFRS 17 reporting, including process improvements, analysis, and participation in the implementation project of TFRS 17 • Support the preparation of financial reports under IFRS 17, including insurance contract liability calculations, cash flow projections, and risk assessments. • Participate in the assessment and implementation of IFRS 17-related changes, including data collection, actuarial modeling, and financial disclosure. • Ensure the accuracy of actuarial information used in financial statements. • Work closely with the Actuarial Manager to ensure the company's adherence to IFRS 17 standards including IFRS17 position papers. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of actuarial processes, assumptions, and methodologies. • Ensure that all actuarial work is in full compliance with regulatory, internal and group standards • Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models to calculate IFRS 17-related provisions, such as Contractual Service Margin (CSM), Risk Adjustment, OCI calculation. • Review and validate actuarial assumptions and methodologies used in the models.

Experience Requirement

• 3-5 years life insurance working experience preferably in actuarial valuations or financial reporting. Candidates with lower or no experience will be considered as staff. • Knowledge on financial reporting standards is a requirement e.g. IFRS4/ USGAAP. Candidate with IFRS17 knowledge is a plus. • Good knowledge of Excel and Prophet (or similar packages) is required. • Proficiency in DCS/Python/R/ SQL is a plus. • A good command of English, since it is the office language. • Actively pursuing actuarial exams from a recognized actuarial association
